DJ Mag’s ‘Top 100 DJs’ Documentary Coming January 31st

As DJ Mag continues to roll out their annual ‘top’ lists, including recently opening voting for the Top 100 Clubs, they’ve also delivered some other exciting news: the forthcoming release of a documentary. Entitled Top 100 DJs: The World’s Biggest Music Poll, the documentary film will premiere exclusively on YouTube on January 31st, 2024 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Top 100 DJs poll.

A DJ Mag original film, the documentary will give insight into the “world’s biggest music poll,” as told by some of electronic music’s best-known artists. The documentary will follow Top 100 DJs over its 30-year history, from its humble beginnings in the ‘90s to becoming the global phenomenon it is today.

The documentary will include interviews with artists that have been central to the Top 100 DJs over the years, including Carl Cox, Smokin Jo, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Charlotte de Witte, Steve Aoki, Armin van Buuren, DJ Paulette, David Morales, Fatboy Slim, Arielle Free, ALOK, Sonique, Don Diablo, Hardwell, Sister Bliss, Sarah Story, Paul Van Dyk, John Digweed, Mariana BO, and more. The documentary will also touch upon some of the issues and controversy around the Top 100 DJs poll.
