Sirius XM to Debut ‘Guest DJs’ Feature on Their Biggest Channels

We’ve got big news for SiriusXM users. The platform is rolling out a new feature called Guest DJs. Subscribers can dive into these sessions which allow them to hear more about the selected DJs but also discover new ones. This is a huge plus in this ever-so-often saturated market.

President and chief content officer of SiriusXM Scott Greenstein told TheWrap, “With this launch, we are providing a way for more musicians than ever before to share the stories behind their top hits and curate one-of-a-kind sets on our biggest music channels.”

“For listeners craving something different than an algorithmically-driven playlist, these provide a gateway into the human-curated oasis that is SiriusXM,” Greenstein added. “And for devoted fans, these guest DJ sets are a love letter from the world’s biggest musical acts.”

The campaign boasts Guest DJ sessions from 14 distinguished dance/electronic artists. The artists include:

Alesso, Anabel Englund, Becky Hill, Calvin Harris, Cascada, David Guetta, Dillon Francis, Illenium, Kygo, LP Giobbi, Swedish House Mafia, The Chainsmokers, Tiësto, and Ultra Naté.

Also, it’s great to note that Sirius just re-launched their app with a whole new interface. This new feature is able to be listened to immediately.

Finally, there are 161 more music artists that are going to be featured on Guest DJs from across all genres. There will be big names featured in Country, Hip Hop and R&B, Heavy Metal, Latin, Pop, Rock categories and more. Take a look at the full list here!
