Chloé Caillet Launches SMIILE Records With New Acid House

French house artist Chloé Caillet has launched her label, SMIILE Records, with the release of her new single, “12 Inch Acid,” out now.
Collaboratively produced with Melbourne, Australia-based artist Luke Alessi, the track is brimming with a 90s rave aesthetic, complete with powerful kicks and plenty of acid house synths.
“This first track was made with a pure feeling of making a club-focused record to get people to keep going throughout the night and to bring some of their favorite elements of the ’90s dance scene,” Caillet said in a statement.
“We made it in my studio in Ibiza late summer with the idea of putting in all of our favorite elements of dance music to create chaos on the dancefloor,” the Parisian producer added on Instagram.
The launch of SMIILE Records marks Caillet’s first foray into music publishing as an extension of her LGBTQ+ SMIILE party series, which debuted at Barcelona’s Nitsa Club in September 2023 and has since traveled to Colour Factory in London, in addition to sharing digital radio mixes from Spanish breakbeat artist AINES and Caillet herself.
On the heels of the label’s first release with “12 Inch Acid,” Caillet will bring her SMIILE party to the U.S. in March, with dates set for Los Angeles, New York City, and Miami Music Week. Following the stateside run, SMIILE will head to Paris on March 29, London on April 13 and Barcelona on May 10.
