Asia's Largest Festival at Sea, IT'S THE SHIP, to Feature
ACRAZE, Yellow Claw and More in Korean Debut
There's a shipload of excitement surrounding Asia's largest floating festival in 2024.
IT'S THE SHIP has announced its inaugural sailing in Korea and dropped anchor on the first wave of its lineup. The cruise festival will usher in an exciting international expansion for the brand, which has organized electronic music-fueled voyages through Singapore and China since 2014.
In celebration of the brand's 10-year anniversary, they are meeting the moment by announcing a bevy of dance music superstars for their first-ever Korean edition. Headlining the festival's oceanic lineup are ACRAZE, Yellow Claw, Quintino and €URO TRA$H. It'll be the first-ever live performance of latter, the techno and house music alter-ego of Yellow Claw.
IT'S THE SHIP Korea is presented by M88 Mansion, a prominent brand in sports and online gaming entertainment. Taking place aboard the opulent Italian vessel Costa Serena, the festival will sail from the South Korean city of Busan to Nagasaki, Japan and back from May 23-26, 2024. Organizers will also host wellness programs and artist-led activities as well as secret parties.
c/o IT'S THE SHIP
There's a reason why IT'S THE SHIP tells ravers to "please follow irresponsibly." It's not your average cruise—it's a one-of-a-kind festival experience where serene seascapes and whispering waters are replaced by no-holds-barred beats that quite literally rock the boat.
"The ship always feels like a really big private party somehow," Yellow Claw said in a press release. "You hang out, eat, swim and party together. And on that rare occasion you find yourself in your room, the views are quite stunning too."
Those eager to experience IT'S THE SHIP Korea can now secure their cabins. Each includes complimentary round-the-clock dining, non-alcoholic beverages and free access to most of the ship’s facilities. You can find out more and purchase passes here.
