Chris Lorenzo Unveils Late Checkout Takeover In San Francisco

Chris Lorenzo has announced a two-date, three-show takeover in San Francisco.

Last week, the UK tech house maestro teased his upcoming 2024 Late Checkout Tour on Instagram, sharing six dates and picture clues as to which cities he’ll be playing this fall.

Yesterday, Lorenzo unveiled San Francisco’s Phoenix Hotel as one of the mystery venues on the tour, where he’ll play three sets in two days from September 13-14, 2024.

On Friday, September 13, the “MAMI” producer will kick off the busy weekend in style with a special “Discodelic” welcome party at The Phoenix Hotel’s Chambers Lounge. This intimate show will be reserved for hotel guests only.

The following day, Saturday, September 14, Lorenzo’s main event will take place at the hotel’s pool deck, where he’ll play an open-to-close extended set, followed by a late-night afterparty at a secret location to be announced later.

According to Lorenzo’s Instagram teaser, the hotel-themed tour produced by the artist’s own Late Checkout Records label will officially open on August 31, touching down in cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, and Los Angeles before coming to a close in Madison, Wisconsin on December 7. The remaining mystery cities and additional dates will be revealed in the coming months.

The tour announcement follows a landmark spring for Lorenzo, who stole headlines alongside Chris Lake in April after the duo revived their acclaimed Anti Up project, sharing dual single The Weekend / Control The Media—their first official release since 2022’s “Chromatic”—and marking the comeback with a special production-heavy set at Coachella.

Later this summer, Lorenzo will make festival appearances at Salt Lake City’s Get Funky, Shambhala, and Elements Festival, in between his ongoing residency gigs at Las Vegas’ TAO Beach Dayclub. He’ll also perform at Chris Lake’s Black Book Records show in NYC later this month and return to Amnesia Ibiza in late September.

Pre-sale registration for Chris Lorenzo’s Late Checkout San Francisco is open here, and pre-sale ticket access is now live here.
