Tape B Announces Largest Tour of His Career

At a Tape B show, it's not uncommon (in fact, it's expected) to hear some of your favorite hip-hop throwbacks along with current hits, mixed and distorted into a wobbly barrage of bass. The breakout DJ and bass music producer has now revealed his biggest tour to-date, giving fans and strangers alike the chance to experience his unique "old school x new school" style.

Along the way of the 16-show tour, which represents its first phase, other rising artists in the trap and dubstep scenes will join Tape B, including Effin, sumthin sumthin EDM.com Class of 2024 trio Levity, among others.

Prior to the announcement, Tape B in May took to social media to announce his upcoming headline show at Denver's Mission Ballroom, which now appears toward the end of the tour in November. The show sold out in a matter of hours, leaving the artist and his fans in disbelief.

But it shouldn't come as a surprise. Tape B's ascent to tour headliner is underpinned by the fact that he has sold out every show he's announced since December 2023, performed at major festivals like Lost Lands, Ultra and EDC, and most recently provided direct support for dubstep superstar Subtronics at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. The DJ can also attribute the surge in popularity partly to his and Mersiv's recent single "Trippy Land," which features hip-hop luminary Juicy J.

Those who share Tape B's home state of Florida are in for a treat considering four of its 16 dates are located in various major cities of the state. He promised two more phases to the tour to be announced in the weeks ahead, updates for which fans can register here.

Upcoming shows of Tape B's before the fall tour begins include Tape B & Friends Block Parties in Dallas and Austin, Texas, on the 15th and 16th respectively. He'll then travel north for Ottawa's Escapade Music Festival before performances at Breakaway Festival Minnesota, Shambhala and North Coast, among other stops.
