Defected Records Announces Return To ADE For 2024

Defected Records has announced its return to Amsterdam for Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) this fall.

Having just wrapped up a sold-out 25-year anniversary world tour show at Bloemendaal, the Netherlands’ Bronze Beach last weekend, the revered UK house label confirmed on Instagram Monday that it will be heading back to the country for a takeover of Amsterdam’s Westerunie & Transformatorhius space on Friday, October 18, 2024.

A lineup is yet to be announced for the one-night-only show at one of the city’s markedly unique dance venues, a former gasification plant-turned-three-room nightclub near Westerpark. Defected’s 2023 ADE show featured sets from famous label stalwarts like Ferreck Dawn, Hannah Wants, Low Steppa, Paige Tomlinson, Darius Syrossian, and more.

Throughout ADE, which returns to Amsterdam from October 16-20, 2024 with over 1,000 events taking place in more than 200 venues across the city, Westerunie will host additional events from Defected’s inclusive disco party, Glitterbox, and East End Dubs’ famous Eastenderz label.

The Defected ADE show will see the label continue its touring birthday celebration well into the fall, and build on a rich history of label events at dance music’s leading industry conference, dating back over ten years. Defected also notably celebrated its 10-year anniversary at ADE in 2009.

Back in January, the label announced its plans to celebrate 25 years in existence with a special 25-date residency run, touching down in 25 countries throughout 2024. So far, Defected’s birthday tour shows have already been held in the UK, U.S., Croatia, Malta, Spain, France, Italy and Australia, among other nations.

In between ongoing residency dates at Ushuaïa Ibiza, the brand will next bring the tour to Glastonbury this weekend ahead of gigs in Montreal for Off Piknic, Toulouse, Bali, Istanbul, London’s DRUMSHEDS, Sydney, Dubai, and more later this summer.

Pre-sale registration for Defected ADE 2024 is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin tomorrow, Thursday, June 27 at 1PM CEST (7AM EST). Any remaining tickets will be made available for general sale on Friday, June 28 at 1PM CEST (7AM EST).
