Insomniac Confirms New Later Dates For Project GLOW 2025

Insomniac has just confirmed the official dates for the 2025 edition of Project GLOW.

Project GLOW will return to Washington D.C.’s RFK Festival Grounds—just outside of RFK Stadium—for a fourth consecutive year on May 31 and June 1, 2025. The new dates will see the festival held one month later than in previous editions, which have taken place during the last weekend in April and have been subject to wet weather.

According to organizers, the change in dates provides a “likely opportunity” to avoid spring rain showers that have occurred at Project GLOW every year since its launch in 2022.

“By moving the festival to May, we’re giving the community the opportunity to fully enjoy all that Project GLOW has to offer without any scheduling conflicts and in a more comfortable weather setting,” Club GLOW President Pete Kalamoutsos said in a statement shared with EDM Maniac.

“We’re excited to welcome festival goers to a warmer, sunnier setting where they can fully immerse themselves in the music, art, and vibrant atmosphere that has made Project GLOW so special these past three years,” he continued.

Despite the rainfall, the festival, collaboratively produced by Insomniac and its D.C. partner promoter Club GLOW, has quietly become one of the best midsize electronic music festivals on the East Coast, consistently praised for its impressive production, intimate feel, and dynamic lineups.

Over the past three years, more than 40,000 attendees have braved the soggy conditions to catch headliners like ILLENIUM, Zedd, Diplo, Kygo, Above & Beyond, and more. The company says fans can expect the same caliber of talent at this year’s Project GLOW, as well as cutting-edge production, enhanced sound design, local vendors, and on-site art installations.

Festivalgoers can also enjoy a revamped VIP experience, and more shade structures will be installed to keep attendees cool while dancing in the summer heat.

Fans can sign up for text alerts here to receive first access to pre-sale tickets, lineup announcements, and more information as it is announced. Project GLOW’s loyalty pre-sale will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, July 23 at 12PM ET. General on-sale will follow on Friday, July 26 at 12PM ET.
