Time Off Audio has released dime [ms], a plugin designed to give producers and engineers greater control over mid/side processing. The tool acts as a plugin host, allowing users to apply AU or VST3 effects on mid and side signals independently — even if those effects don’t natively support mid/side operation. Confused? dime [ms] offers four plugin slots each for the mid and side channels, enabling custom signal chains. Users can map up to ten parameters for quick access and tweak their setup using built-in mix controls and stereo width visualisation. Time Off Audio emphasizes that the plugin aims to simplify what is often a complex routing task in your DAW.
