Audiocube 3D DAW Adds MIDI Timeline &
Sequencing

Audiocube’s V8 adds a full MIDI sequencing timeline and drag-and-drop file import. Now on sale for $49 (normally $199) for a limited time.
Audiocube, the 3D DAW for immersive sound design and music production, has released its Version 8 update. The headline feature is the introduction of an advanced MIDI timeline, which allows sequencing, note editing, timeline navigation, grid subdivisions, and MIDI file import/export.
Alongside this, it integrates an enhanced UI with workflow improvements – particularly drag‑and‑drop support for audio, MIDI and project files – and a refreshed visual style. To mark the launch, the software is being offered at a reduced price of $49, down from its usual $199.
The update represents one of the most technically ambitious additions to Audiocube, enabling users to precisely sequence its internal modules, such as Samplers, Emitters, and Logic Boxes – all inside its 3D acoustic simulation environment. The update also includes a new "frosted glass" aesthetic for the interface, a more open layout, and improvements designed to streamline user workflows on both Mac and Windows platforms.
Key Features of Audiocube V8 MIDI Sequencing and Editing
The core of v8 is a full MIDI timeline: users can create, move, cut, copy, paste, duplicate and adjust note lengths. The timeline supports import and export of MIDI files, zooming, and a variable subdivision grid for precise rhythm work.
Workflow and UI Enhancements
Audiocube v8 introduces drag‑and‑drop of .wav, .mp3, .mid, and .audiocube project files. The interface has been overhauled with cleaner visuals, including a new “frosted glass” style, improved layout, and streamlined editing and selection tools.
Branding Refresh
The release includes a redesign of the app’s branding – new logo, app icon, and website design – that aligns with the software’s cinematic and immersive identity.
