Watch Pendulum's Rob Swire Join Armin van Buuren for Rare
Tomorrowland Performance
A pair of electronic music legends took the stage at Tomorrowland over the weekend for a rare performance that fans won't soon forget.
Attendees of the iconic EDM festival's landmark 20th anniversary event saw Armin van Buuren invite Rob Swire, the deeply influential vocalist and co-founder of Pendulum, onstage to perform a new song, a drum & bass rendition of their collaboration, "Sound of You."
The remarkable cameo took place July 19th during van Buuren's set on Tomorrowland's Mainstage, which he closed for the first time in 11 years. He'd previewed a big room version at Ultra Music Festival's Miami and Europe editions, per DJ Mag.

Swire's surprising appearance follows in the footsteps of Jon Bon Jovi, with whom van Buuren performed at Ultra Miami in March to debut a new remix of the rock icon's 1992 track "Keep The Faith."
On the music front, van Buuren recently released "In the Dark," an anthemic collaboration with David Guetta. That track, which released earlier in the month of July via his own Armada imprint, also appeared in his show-stopping Tomorrowland set.
Tomorrowland returns for its second 2024 weekend from Friday, July 26th to Sunday, July 28th.
