Here at EDMTunes, we’re always excited to find out about artists that weren’t on our radar before and who amaze us with their productions. It’s happened today, in the form of a very versatile, veteran artist, who’s just put out an album, mind you. Meet Bogendorfer.

Hailing from Oberwart, Austria, the ever-evolving artist Franz Johann Bogendorfer, also known in the industry as just Bogendorfer, has been a powerhouse in the scene for years, masterfully switching between Deep Tech, Organic Tech House, and Downtempo sounds that make up his core essence.
Earlier this month, he unveiled his latest artist album, Cohuna Beatz. Consisting of eight tracks, produced at the renowned Batusim Studio Oberwart, and released through vinyl, the LP represents the culmination of Bogendorfer’s years of dedication and experimentation. And out of the album, one track in particular blew us right out of the water.
‘Ogun’
Warm and groovy, ‘Ogun’ is a wonderful blend of Deep House and Afro House, taking the foundation from the first, but the personality of the second, resulting in a very interesting concept that stands out in today’s template-filled world.
Playing with high toms, African chants, House claps, robotic vocals, synth arpeggios, and much more, Bogendorfer is able to portray an arrangement like few around, providing a fresh note of Dance to the industry, and paving the path for other producers to follow his footsteps.
