‘Can You See Me?’ Is REZZ’s Darkest And Most Hypnotic Album Yet

REZZ has done it again and released a “never been done before” album, this time darker and more hypnotic than ever with Can You See Me?, just dropped on her label, HypnoVizion.

Putting out a warning to her followers on Instagram, REZZ said, “Typically I sprinkle some singable songs into my projects, but this one, nope. It’s just intended to be heavy and dark, industrial and rhythmic – collaborative AF, and def the nastiest project of mine yet.”

Leaning into her dark side, REZZ has proved once again why she is one of the top bass music producers in the scene. Music is meant to be emotional and REZZ leans into those darker emotions and crafts an album with no words to speak for itself and into the hearts of listeners everywhere.

A few stand outs on the album include “Infraliminal- Isabelle’s Version.” This track is a slower bpm and softer version of the original shared with deadmau5. Coming off an epic premiere of the REZZMAU5 project at Veld Music Festival last fall, “Infraliminal- Isabelle’s Version” closes out the LP with a hauntingly dark record meant to be played in a horror movie.

“Maleficent” with EDDIE (a HyponoVision alumni) starts of light and then bends into the darkest of drops, with ghost like vocals in the backtrack. Utilizing industrial like beats, this song plays into the darkest of emotions.

“The Descent” with INZO also leans into a more experimental bass sound, combining the two’s signatures perfectly.

REZZ is set to perform a tour of this album, and will begin with an epic performance at Beyond Wonderland next weekend.
