Seven Lions And Andrew Bayer Drop “Places I Belong”
Seven Lions, Andrew Bayer, and Fiora have all teamed up to release the first Ophelia Records single of the year, “Places I Belong.”
Ophelia Records was created by Seven Lions, real name Jeff Montalvo, as a home for independent dance music and showcases the genres of melodic bass, trance, dubstep, and more.
“Places I Belong” brings listeners back to their trance roots, standing as a euphoric anthem meant to bring out the happiest of emotions in listeners. This song reminds listeners to remember and focus on the times when they felt like they belonged.
The release of “Places I Belong” marks the return of epic collaborations between Bayer and Montalvo who released “Returning To You” together two years ago.
While Montalvo brings the melodic production into the track, Bayer brings his signature trance touch to make a perfectly executed trance anthem.
Bayer is a Grammy-nominated artist for his work on Above & Beyond’s album We Are All We Need back in 2015.
Fiora (Fiora Cutler) and Montalvo have also collaborated in the past as she lent her vocals to the deeper trance track “After Dark.”
This release marks the beginning of what is hoped to be a longer-standing collaboration project between the trio.
