Kasbo Premieres ‘Labyrinth’ Vol 1 On Washington’s High Steel
Bridge
In what looks like a scene from a movie, Kasbo just dropped the first volume of his Labyrinth mix series on YouTube.
Filmed in Shelton, WA on top of the High Steel Bridge, this mix is nothing short of an emotional journey.
Beginning with his latest single release “Alive,” the mix enters a new era for Kasbo, real name Carl Garsbo.
The mix is a melodic and progressive house juggernaut, featuring many unreleased originals and edits, including a progressive house remix of MGMT’s “Kids,” “Banza” by Cassian, and so much more.
Labyrinth is the first of a series of sets to be released on YouTube.
Volume 1 was filmed in high definition on High Steel Bridge by DJ Mag. Kasbo is shown to be playing a sunrise set in freezing weather in the middle of the woods, 400 ft in the air.
According to an Instagram post on Foreign Family, Garsbo flew to Washington from Sweden for less than 24 hours just to shoot this video.
Kasbo is an artist often featured on ODESZA’s record label, Foreign Family. Hailing from Sweden, Garsbo’s euphoric house tunes have garnered global support since 2015.
He recently ended a three-year hiatus, citing confusion about his place in the current electronic music space, according to an Instagram post.
He once again released original tracks in 2023 with “The Way You Had Me,” kicking off his refined taste and melodic house sound.
