HARDWIRED LA Locks In Lineup For Warehouse Summer Special

Southern California underground promoters Dirty Epic and Singularity are gearing up for the next edition of their collaborative HARDWIRED Los Angeles event.

On Saturday, June 15, 2024, HARDWIRED’s “huge summer special” will feature performances from an electrifying lineup of legendary hard dance selectors, including revered Italian hardcore artist MAD DOG.

He’ll perform his first-ever “downtempo warehouse set”—that is, downtempo compared to his usually furiously fast beats—or more accurately, a hard techno set, at the event’s secret warehouse location.

MAD DOG will be joined by the equally heralded Dutch hard techno duo GHOST IN THE MACHINE, bringing their cutting-edge industrial sound to HARDWIRED’s “proper underground setting,” complete with state-of-the-art sound and lighting design.

Before MAD DOG and GHOST IN THE MACHINE take the stage—each performing an extended set—another beacon of underground music, Austin, Texas’ Jenna Shaw, will serve up her own slice of hard techno heaven.

Those who saw HARDWIRED’s warehouse venue at their debut show with Nico Moreno in January will know just how special the space is. Unfortunately, many did not.

A statement from HARDWIRED shared the following day explains that after police officers noticed attendees loitering around the venue with open containers, the event was shut down prematurely. Thankfully, Moreno still made his LA debut after the gig was moved to Catch One, albeit to a considerably limited-capacity crowd.

Evidently, the underground remains just that—underground—and HARDWIRED called attention to the scene’s fragility and the “proper precautions that need to be respected” to keep their warehouses running.

Ahead of the event’s sophomore edition, organizers have shared the following statement:

“When we have the opportunity to create something special and experience these moments of rarified energy together, we should not take it for granted and do everything we can to ensure the events happen without issue. Please remember to RESPECT THE UNDERGROUND & RESPECT EACH OTHER.”

With LA’s passionate community of techno fans rallying around the HARDWIRED crew more than ever, their upcoming show is poised to be one for the books.
