Marshmello Shares Six New Tracks In Social Media Teaser

Marshmello has just teased six new incoming tracks on social media.

The tracks featured in Marshmello’s Instagram teaser today harken back to his early days, running the gambit from emotive, mainstage-ready EDM to trap and even liquid drum & bass—in stark contrast to his recent dubstep exploits with SVDDEN DEATH.

Alongside short audio clips for each new song, Marshmello also dropped off their official titles, including “Minute” featuring an unnamed vocalist, “Kissin my friends,” “Don’t Speak” featuring Sabrina Claudio, “Forever” with pluko, “Just Can’t Stop” and “Dreams” featuring Leon Thomas.

In the comments section of Marshmello’s post, some fans speculated that the new tracks’ “OG mello” vibe could mean that the artist is gearing up to release Joytime IV, an unconfirmed next installment in Marshmello’s fan-favorite LP series. 2016’s Joytime is Marshmello’s debut album, followed by Joytime II and Joytime III in 2018 and 2019.

No release date has been set for any ensuing Joytime album nor the teased tracks at the time of writing.

Marshmello’s latest release, his collaborative MELLODEATH Tapes Vol. I EP with SVDDEN DEATH, arrived last month, featuring heavy-hitting bass tracks like “Ceremony” and “Triumphant.” The pair has also hinted at unveiling two more bonus tracks.

Marshmello and SVDDEN DEATH will close out their “MELLODEATH Tour” in Dallas next weekend. Marshmello will then make festival appearances in China and Mexico before returning stateside for his XS Las Vegas residency and Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge in May and June.
