Gorgon City ft. NORTH- Breathe You In

Gorgon City has a new atmospheric single out for you featuring rising vocalist, NORTH titled ‘Breathe You In‘. The acclaimed UK dance duo will drop their highly anticipated LP Reverie on July 19th via REALM/Astralwerks. Now, 2024 is half over, and Gorgon City made it a prolific year. With the buzz of a fifth studio album in the works, they have a new single to top it off.

‘Breathe You In’ is another dancefloor weapon featuring a signature storming bassline right from the start. The atmospheric synths enter as you groove and transcend. NORTH’s voice soars and lifts you higher with each breath she sings. Towards the middle of the track, things heat up and get deeper for a second. Then it’s right back to the melody. Keep an ear out for this track and its punch to your music-loving gut during this festival season. It is undoubtedly destined to soundtrack sunsets (perhaps even at CRSSD this September) and nighttime revelry around the world this summer.

I’ve followed Gorgon City throughout their career, and they captivate every time on their house music prowess. To kick off their summer LP, this track is among the latest in a string of huge singles released already. Each one is full of memorable toplines and filthy basslines. Lead single ‘Biggest Regret‘ (with Bbyafricka) released earlier this year, followed by the club-ready ‘You Know It‘, the anthemic ‘All That You Need, and last month’s ‘One New Change’. Reverie follows the acclaimed 2023 LP Salvation, packed with hit singles including ‘Voodoo’ and ‘Pose’. Before that, we got Olympia with hit singles like ‘You’ve Done Enough‘, ‘Tell Me It’s True‘, ‘Foolproof‘, and so much more.
