5 Artists to Watch at Colorado’s Global Dance Festival

With Colorado’s Global Dance Festival just a few weeks away, it’s time for a closer look at the artists hitting the stages July 26 and 27 at the National Western Complex Center. This year’s festival promises an electrifying atmosphere with state-of-the-art stage productions and immersive visual effects. Attendees can also expect a diverse lineup featuring both established names and rising stars across various subgenres of electronic music. Headliners The Chainsmokers, Duke Dumont, Gryffin, and Fisher need no introduction so here are five other artists not to be missed:

    1. Kaytranada

A versatile artist known for his eclectic mix of electronic, R&B, and hip-hop influences, Kaytranada is a Haitian-Canadian music producer, rapper, singer and DJ. His productions are characterized by smooth grooves, intricate beats, and soulful vocal samples. His albums like “99.9%” have won acclaim, celebrating his innovative approach to blending genres.

    2. Said The Sky

Offering a blend of melodic dubstep and future bass, Said The Sky’s music is distinguished by its emotional depth and atmospheric soundscapes. He collaborates with other Denver artists like Illenium and produces solo releases evoking euphoria and introspection.

    3. 1991

1991 is a British drum and bass producer known for his energetic style and collaboration as ¼ of DNB supergroup Worship. His music combines classic jungle and drum and bass elements with modern production techniques, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and innovative.

    4. Champagne Drip

The Los Angeles-based producer stands out for blending glitchy textures, intricate rhythms, and deep basslines in electronic music. His energetic and innovative performances, crafting ethereal melodies and intense drops, appeal to fans of experimental bass music and beyond.

    5. Boogie T b2b Jantsen

A back-to-back set between Boogie T and Jantsen is likely to be a high-energy affair, blending Boogie T’s funk-infused dubstep vibes with Jantsen’s heavy-hitting bass music style. Expect a mix of infectious grooves, powerful bass drops, and possibly some live instrumentation from Boogie T.
