Antares Simplifies Product Line With Release Of AutoTune 2026

New edition streamlines pitch correction for real-time use, removes legacy products from lineup.

Antares Audio Technologies has announced the release of AutoTune 2026, a complete redesign of its flagship pitch correction software. This update coincides with a significant restructuring of the company’s product lineup, reducing the available offerings to two main versions: AutoTune 2026 and AutoTune Pro 11.

The move simplifies the choices available to producers and vocalists by discontinuing AutoTune Artist and AutoTune Access. AutoTune 2026 now serves as the real-time pitch correction solution, while AutoTune Pro 11 continues to provide detailed manual tuning tools via Graph Mode. Both versions are built around Antares’ well-known tuning algorithm, which has been a fixture in music production since the 1990s.

Focused redesign for modern production workflows

AutoTune 2026 introduces a fully overhauled interface aimed at improving usability and performance. According to Antares, the updated engine offers up to 35% greater efficiency at 48kHz and more than double the CPU performance at higher sample rates. These gains are expected to benefit a wide range of users - from laptop-based creators to studio engineers running larger sessions.

Low Latency mode is intended for tracking and live performance, while High Quality mode caters to final mixdown stages. The ability to switch between these modes allows producers to tailor performance to different stages of production.

A more intuitive control layout makes AutoTune 2026 accessible to users across experience levels. The new version features streamlined tuning controls with enhanced visual feedback, showing real-time pitch variation and Flex Tune activity. Flex Tune and Humanize settings are available in Modern Mode, enabling natural-sounding correction. For users aiming to recreate the robotic vocal effect popularized in the 2000s, Classic Mode emulates the behavior of AutoTune 5.

Preset library features contributions from prominent producers

To support a range of creative applications, AutoTune 2026 launches with a library of presets developed by high-profile producers and engineers. These include contributions from Zedd, DJ Swivel, Trooko, Major Seven, and Jean-Marie Horvat - all of whom have worked on major releases across pop, hip-hop, and Latin music genres. These presets offer users quick access to professional-grade vocal treatments out of the box.

The software is compatible with AutoKey 2 and forms part of the AutoTune Unlimited subscription. AutoTune 2026 is available at no additional cost for current Unlimited subscribers and can also be purchased via a perpetual license for $300. A 14-day free trial of AutoTune Unlimited is available.
